The only people who are not angry over Benedict Cumberbatch playing Khan in Star Trek Into Darkness are long time Star Trek fans. Reason why is because these people are Egalitarian and they believe in treating people equally in all walks of life. Star Trek is a show in which skin color literally does not matter at all. Trekkies see this and they have no qualms over Cumberbatch playing a character that was supposed to be brown according to social justice people. 

I don’t mind white washing and I don’t mind color washing. What I do mind is the fact that people are making a big deal about race in a film that is set in a world where race does not matter at all. 

If you people get so angry over white washing, then get angry over color washing too. Because then you guys would be practicing true equality.
